angelverseconfessions: When I learned that Angel was canceled to make room for another vampire show that ended up not even being made, I got so bad… Despite that I learned it years after the fact. Mod Note: David Fury says that the show was canceled because they demanded to be decided on earlier in the season (as they were generally held on the line until May) and The WB decided not to ‘risk’ it. Fury has stated they would have been renewed if they hadn’t demanded it and The WB admitted that the cancellation was a mistake. I’m curious about this ‘other vampire show’ thing if anyone has any more information. This confession was actually from me… My source is James Marsters, who mentioned it during a convention Q&A.
