…in order to buy some random snacks for a D&D game tonight. I browsed around and suddenly came across THIS:

  Now, I’ve never read the Dune books but I’ve seen all the movies and know what an awesome story it is. How much did this huge hardcover book cost me? Two dollars. I’d recently decided to stop buying so many books and finish the ones I have first, but the universe seems to disagree with me and apparently it wants me to get more! I mean, how was I not gonna buy that???

  From what I read inside the book jacket, this story happens between ‘Dune’ and ‘Dune Messiah’. Guess I’ll have to track down a used copy of ‘Dune’ and read it first.

  But seriously, what was this doing in a dollar store?
