This is actually happening, people. It’s a comic-book that’s due to come out in May! At first I didn’t know what to make of it, but in the end I told myself these two franchises are compatible enough. I’ll be picking it up, if only to see how it goes.

  The only thing that might bother me from this cross-over is not that it’s happening in itself, but rather the possibility of it opening the doors to having the Doctor crossing over with franchises he has no business dealing with. Let’s not forget that the Star Trek universe has already dealt with the Marvel Universe in the past…

TWICE. (Because you know, it was such a good idea the first time around!)

  Of course I should point out that the Doctor himself has already crossed over with the Marvel Universe in a Death’s Head comic back when Marvel UK had the rights to publish Doctor Who comics…

  But that doesn’t mean it was a good idea in the first place!
