Well my name is Bruno (obviously), I live in the city of Montreal in Canada. This is my blog for articles and reviews of all things geek and whatever other random stuff I feel like sharing.

James Marsters is too old to play Spike now. I’ve come to accept it. I will forever be disappointed that they never made that straight-to-DVD Spike movie while James Marsters was still young enough to do it, but now it would be difficult to pretend he’s still an immortal vampire who doesn’t age. Don’t get me wrong, he doesn’t look his age… But he certainly doesn’t look as young as he used to either.

Which leads me to Captain John Hart, a human character who does age, whom Marsters could play at any moment! It seems ridiculous to me that James Marsters is the actor for a character in the Whoniverse and that they’re not doing anything with him! Marsters himself expressed interest in going back to the Torchwood series! And if Davies doesn’t want to include him in the stories he has in mind, let’s not forget that Moffat keeps saying he’d love to use Jack Harkness over on Doctor Who but he can’t because Jack’s busy with Torchwood. Well, John Hart is not busy! They’re not doing anything with the character! Moffat could perfectly use him!

They need to do a new story with Captain John Hart already. You do not get James Marsters to play a character in your t.v series and then leave him in limbo. You just don’t.
